Fair Play and Acceptable Behaviour
This site caters for Playstation 3 enthusiasts to further enjoy their gaming in a competitive spirit.
Competing players and Clan representatives are expected to remain honest when reporting in match results at all times. Unfortunately there are many dishonest clans playing at any one time and the following behaviour is deemed unacceptable and perpetrators of the following will result in being removed from the site to help keep the leagues and competitions fair for others:
- Reporting fake wins
- Masquerading as rival clans or clan members
- Continued breaking of the specific rules applied to the League or competition
- Producing modified images of results screen to claim a win
- Creating another clan or Player ID with the intention of having fake battles and reporting them as bonafide matches
- Abusive behaviour on the forums at PS3 Multiplayer
Furthermore, clans breaking the rules above will be removed from the PS3 Media network of sites including the PS3 Multiplayer site.
Cheating. dishonest and abusinve behaviour will never be tolerated on these websites.
General Site and Match Playing Etiquette
It is absolutely crucial that you agree the rules of your challenge with your opponent beforehand.
If you are contacting them by email or the forum you should ensure both sides fully understand the game settings.
If you wish to have a match with certain weapons only or no vehicles or set a limited number of players in a clan match or the number of maps points or rounds then make sure you agree this beforehand.
Either email the player/team directly by email (by clicking on their name) or via the forum at ps3multiplayer.com.
If you organise the match in one of the forumīs Challenge thread then the rules are plain to see should their be a subsequent disagreement.
Generally speaking these are obviously disallowed and can result in an immediate forfeit:
1. Making use of Glitches
2. Having more players than agreed in Clan matches
3. Breaking the pre-set rules as agreed before the match
4. Using known exploits or bad-sportsmanship. Examples are:
(a) Staying in an area ( a map exploit) making it impossible for the opponent to attack without unfair losses
(b) Repetitive suicide or hiding to frustrate an opponent into leaving the match
(c) Using Lag to an advantage
Use your common sense. These games should be played in a sporting way.
If you wish to report a Clan or player breaking these rules or are unclear yourself on what constitutes unacceptable behaviour then you can contact us in the following ways:
